BELGRAVE appeared in the summer of 2014 with an incredible, now-disappeared "Is Love Enough". This stunning statement of intent was quickly followed by "Playing Games", another sultry, seductive and wholly emotional outing that showcased a very obvious talent. His Echoes EP continued to make a mark and now the enigmatic Londoner has reappeared with a new track and something of a new direction. "Lift Me Up" - produced by sought-after LA producer Felix Snow, responsible for Kiiara’s breakthrough track "Gold" - highlights his pop sensibilities as he adopts a more celebratory, euphoric tone, complete with dance floor drop and "woop" of delight. It's an impressive sign of diversity from the potential-filled newcomer, proving that he is capable of both tugging at heartstrings and inducing smiles. With a live show at The Finsbury on 14 March, we'll be watching his pop-progression carefully; BELGRAVE has everything in place to lift up brilliantly out of the shadows. -G.O.B
